Subject Description: Standing male figure with arms at sides; legs bent. Flat face with almond-shaped eyes; worn nose; small, pursed lips; small, oval-shaped ears. Incised line along jaw delineates beard. Hairline and cap-like coiffure marked by rows of incised herringbone pattern; rectangular coiffure extends from base of head to center of long neck. Cylindrical body with low relief pectoral muscles and navel; thin arms extend at right angles from shoulders, bend at elbows with unarticulated hands. PR hand attaches at hip. Blade of ceremonial staff with incised lines and chevron designs remains at PL shoulder with old loss of handle. Deeply inset ridge forms backbone; round, slightly projecting buttocks. Long, thick, rounded legs taper to ankles and base. Crusty patina on abdomen, legs, and arms with some bare wood exposed on PR leg and face. Loss of PL hand and feet/ base.
