Two Ways to View The AMICA Library

  • Insight Browser: Works within IE 4.0+, Netscape 4.7+, and Mozilla 1.1+. Safari 1.2+, and Mozilla 1.1+ and requires no plug-ins or software downloads.
  • Insight Java Client: Works on Windows 2000, XP and Mac OSX 10.2+. Allows for more advanced viewing functions and presentation exports.

Free Collections - With 24/7 access to The AMICA Library, subscribers also get access to:

  • The award winning David Rumsey Historical Map Collection which contains over 13,000 rare North and South American maps plus maps from all parts of the World from the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries.
  • The Japanese Historical Maps Collection which contains hundreds of early maps of Japan and the world from the East Asian Library at the University of California, Berkeley.
  • The newly launched Farber Gravestone Collection which contains over 13,500 photographic images documenting the sculpture on more than 9,000 gravestones, most of which were made prior to the 1800's. Sponsored by the American Antiquarian Society.
