The 2009 edition of The AMICA Library documents over 108,000 works of art.

The AMICA Library is a growing online collection of high-quality, digital documentation of works of art from around the world. Images, text and multimedia represent a broad range of works of art in AMICA participant collections, highlighting the creative output of cultures around the world, from prehistoric to contemporary times, and covering the complete range of expressive forms. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.

- over 15,000 paintings
- over 7,000 sculptures
- over 15,000 drawings and watercolors
- over 28,000 prints
- over 28,000 photographs
- over 2,400 textiles
- over 2,100 costumes and jewelry
- over 12,000 works of decorative art
- over 1,200 books and manuscripts
- over 400 multimedia installations and comtemporary mixed media

   
Time Periods: - over 3,800 works dated between 6000 and 1 BC
- over 8,000 works dated between 0 and 1500 AD
- over 4,000 works dated between 1501 and 1600 AD
- over 6,000 works dated between 1601 and 1700 AD
- over 8,000 works dated between 1701 and 1800 AD
- over 23,000 works dated between 1801 and 1900 AD
- over 50,000 works dated between 1901 and the present
   
Cultures: - over 30% from Europe, including ancient Greece and Rome
- over 50% from the Americas including Pre-Columbian (Meso-American)
- over 8% from Asia including ancient Asia Minor
- over 6% works from Africa including ancient Egypt
