Description: Twilled fiber basket; square base and side walls formed by over two, under two weaving; sides flare outward at top to form round raised rim wrapped with splint; lid mirrors basket with twilled, square raised center and round rim of wrapped splints; lid fits inside rim of basket; lid and basket joined by fine fiber tie; carved palm or bamboo stick with pointed end and opposite notched end attached to fiber tie.
