Publication Note: This is the only atlas of San Francisco published in the 19th century, except for several block books published for real estate purposes and fire insurance atlases. It is made up of plat maps which show each block, with the parks, school and fire lots shown in colors. Atlas is bound in half leather brown cloth covers with "Atlas of the city & county of San Francisco. W.P. Humphreys & Co." stamped in gilt.
