List of the buildings, etc. in Russian, in transliterated Russian, and in French; list of streets in Russian and in transliteration. Many plates signed: Podsmotr. G. Valeriani, snimal podmastera Mikhaila Makhaev. Bound in at end of the volume are 16 folded engraved plates in the following order: 5 views of St. Petersburg and its environs by M. Makhayev engraved in 1761 (listed in Rovinski); a view of the Aleksandro-Nevskaya Lavra engraved by Gr. Kachalov in 1748; 6 views of Kammennyi Ostrov by Makhayev, engraved according to Rovinski in 1753. Original in the University of Michigan Library.
