"An early isotype book with typography by Ladislav Sutnar. A fine copy of this rare incunable of the Isotype Movement incorporating Sutnar’s constructivist typography with the isotypes of Augustin Tschinkel who had previously worked with Arntz and Neurath at the Gesellschafts-und Wirtschaftsmuseum in Vienna. Since this was created as a textbook for students of an independent Czechoslovakia, copies were probably destroyed by the Nazis after they took over. OCLC lists only one copy in the U.S., at Northwestern, and 2 in Europe." (Ursus Books, 2023)
