Report illustrated with seven maps and nine diagrams representing the American Expeditionary Forces in Europe during World War I. Bound in board covered in navy-colored linen. With gilded title on front cover, as well as the seal of the United States of America War Office. Volume includes a title page, tables of contents to each of the four sections and an index to the plates. Collation: 96 pages, 16 leaves of plates. Maps show political boundaries, cities, battle lines, military jurisdictions, bodies of water, drainage, coastlines and islands. Diagrams depict the flow of military supplies, as well as the organization and status of various troops within the American Expeditionary Forces. Maps and diagrams preceded by report text, which appears in four parts: Period of organization — Operations — Supply, coordination, munitions, and administration — Miscellaneous subjects.
