"Rare and large map of the Provinces of Formosa and Chaco by Enrique H. Faure (Civil Engineer-Ex-Chief of the Commission for the Study and Construction of the Railroad between Formosa and Embarcación) and Marian Alcantaro (Cartographer). Lithographed by J. Pueser, in Buenos Aires. The focus of the map is the contentious rail line between Formosa and Embarcación, Argentina, which gained world fame as the rail line having the longest roadway constructed in a straight line. The map shows in great detail parcels of land with names of owners etc. There are several inset maps and tables including: Villa Formosa; Esquema de la Red Ferroviaria (Railway Network Scheme); Resistencia y Barranqueras, and two signatures stamped on one panel of the verso of the map."
