Hand color, panoramic circular Bird's-eye-view of the Rigi Mountian, Switzerland on sheet 54x54, dissected into 15 sections of 18x11, mounted on linen and folded into slipcase 18.5x11.5. By Ludwig Pfyffer von Wyher a pioneer of modern cartography and three dimensional maps in Switzerland. Title pasted on the front cover of the case and "Guide des voyageurs sur le Mont Righi. Lucerne chez X. Meyer" on the back. Rigi mountain drawn from the northwest side. Relief shown pictorially, by shadings and spot heights. Includes 4 vignettes insets in the corners show three different views form the mountain and small map of the are "Karte des vier Waldstadter sees'". Drawn by F. Schmid & D.A. Schmid; engraved by F. Hegi.
