In Latin and German. This book was Homann's second school atlas, published after his 1719 Atlas Methodicus (see our 4385.000). While the Atlas Methodicus seemed to be intended for the younger school child with its system of blank maps and indexes, this Atlas Scholasticus was clearly intended for the more advanced student with its use of the same maps as appeared in Homann's various editions of his atlases.
