Note Cornerstone map of New Jersey, 1st edition. Editions published in 1833 by Gordon and Tanner, and in 1849,50,53, and 54 by Horner. Tanner was assisted in the engraving by E.B. Dawson and W. Allen. Most copies (according to F. Baron) are in the dissected folding format, thus this copy is unusual in having rollers. Nicely detailed showing significant structures, canals, turnpikes, swamps, and water features. In color. Relief shown by hachures.
