This is one of Blanchard's most attractive and interesting (especially the detail in early Dakota) lithographic maps. Several of his state pocket maps were taken from it (see our Iowa, #5193, and Minnesota, #4809). Full color, two separate sheets folded into cloth covers 16x11 with "Blanchard's Map Of The North Western States. Showing The Counties Towns & Rail Roads" stamped in gilt.
