In 1898 the G.W. & C.B. Colton firm became Colton, Ohman & Co. and published under that name until about 1901 (Haskell 1562 is his latest listing for the company). After 1901 and until about 1920, Ohman published many maps, principally of the New York City area (see Haskell listings and our #2087), under the firm name of August R. Ohman. This Map of Cuba was published as a newspaper supplement to show the areas of conflict in the Spanish American War. Printed color. Relief shown by isolines and hachures. Prime meridians are Greenwich and Washington, D.c. |
