This area also has penciled in names of explorers and dates. On the right margin outside of the neat line is shown the location of Gorre Island and Cap Vert now in Dakar, Senegal, Africa. Also includes mythical islands such as Maria Laxara shown between California and the Iles Sandwich (Hawaiian Islands). |
