Includes a nicely done substitution patch of an arm of Baffin Bay in the area of northern Canada showing part of the "Northwest Passage" through the Arctic Ocean, patch is bounded by Latitudes 70 and 80 north and longitudes 70 and 130 west. This area also has penciled in names of explorers and dates. On the right margin outside of the neat line is shown the location of Gorre Island and Cap Vert now in Dakar, Senegal, Africa. Also includes mythical islands such as Maria Laxara shown between California and the Iles Sandwich (Hawaiian Islands). |
