| Note |
Scarce early lithographed map of Charleston, without color. Not in Phillips. Beautifully lithographed map of the city, so well done that at first it seems to be engraved. A list of Public Buildings numbered to 80 appears in the lower left. Eight fire wells are located, and the South Carolina Railroad and depot are shown. Keenan also lithographed four Birds Eye views of the city, listed by Reps. Tooley lists maps for Ramsey's Annals of Tennessee 1853 by Keenan and a map titled "Part U.S. 1854." |
