Note
This edition adds a border of views and portraits around the U.S. map, which has been entirely reengraved and updated, with new title, by J.M. Atwood. The five inset city maps include a large one of New York and vicinity. Also contains inset of southern part of Florida. The reddish brown leather covers now have wonderful stamped illustrations of a railroad train and paddle wheel boat with decorative borders with title reading "Phelps's Travellers Guide Through The United States." Map has outline color by state.
