Relief shown with hachures. Includes a bar scale, given in American miles, as well as points of latitude and longitude. With descriptive text throughout, such as: Perpendicular rocks from 200 to 500 feet high. Hand-colored engraving. Map is 26 x 26 cm, on sheet 43 x 35 cm. "Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1831 by David H. Burr, in the Clerk's office of the District Court for the Southern District of New-York."
