Early county map copyright by Smith. Unusual borders. This county was later remapped by J.H. French in 1859 for the French-Smith N.Y. State Map project. Apparently several of the early county maps like this one had to be redone for greater accuracy (Ristow). Inset maps include: Eaton Village, Oneida, Chittenango, Canastota, Cazenovia, Hamilton, and Morrisville. With black top and bottom rollers. Edged in green silk. Full color. Shows key structures, water features, roads by type, canals, railroads, subdivisions, and ownership.
