Note The "new" Alaska gold rush at Nome began in earnest in the fall of 1899, Streeter 3602 is a Map of the Cape Nome Gold Fields, copyright 18 Nov. 1899, which Streeter calls the first map of the Nome mining region. This 1901 large scale production by Temple is an excellent later map showing the full development of the region at the height of the rush - it is not in Streeter or any references, probably indicating a small press run. There is an inset "Map Of Copper River And Vicinity" on a smaller scale. Uncolored, folded into 16x12 brown paper covers with "Map Of The New Alaska Gold Fields...Pocket Edition..." printed in black.
