Pictorial map, on sheet 68x56, folded to self-wrapped pictorial cover, 23x19, with location map, recreational activities, scenic views, text and directory on verso. Color map, featuring the highlights of the area, filled with humorous vignettes and notations. By Charles Pottsmith. Includes inset plan: Cabin located within city limit, title cartouche and Information charts beneath the map, listing the resorts, housekeeping, cabins and motels. Map shows Park Rides at the middle of map, highways, roads, forests, trails, wildlife, rivers, Native American settlements, historical notes, and recreational activities. The use of "Cartomap", in addition to the style of lettering in the map, reflect a format similar to that of cartographer Frank Antonich, whose pioneered the cartoon style pictorial map, published by W.A. Fisher, beginning in the Mid-1930.
