Mounted on heavy paper on linen. The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company, better known as A&P, was founded in 1859 by George Huntington Hartford and George Gilman. It's headquarters are located in Montvale, New Jersey. As of 2015 it had 301 stores in six northeastern states. It was more widespread in 1932 - see small map at bottom right corner. Louis D. Fancher (December 25, 1884–March 2, 1944) was an American artist and illustrator, notable for his drawings that appeared in books, in magazines, and on propaganda posters during World War I.
