Pub Note:
Thompson's second map business was a partnership with Louis Everts formed in 1867. It lasted until 1872, producing county wall maps and then county atlases. This atlas of Stephenson County is typical of the best of the period: history, maps, and views, all arranged in a most pleasing format. At the end of the book are two blank pages with printed columns for "Real Estate Transfers" to be listed. Full color maps.
