Although no date appears, we assume this is 1831 because of the appearance of the map and the style of the covers (plain brown leather with gold title was only used in 1831 by Mitchell). The same map appears in the 1831 Mitchell edition of the American Atlas, but there it has the date of 1831 under the title. Full color. Folded into brown leather covers 15x8.5 with "Pennsylvania New-Jersey & Delaware" and border in gilt. Prime meridians are Greenwich and Washington D.C. Relief shown by hachures.
