Extensive changes from the 1878 edition include redrawing many of the mountain ranges, adding the land office surveys completed to date, new railroads, etc. This edition also adds a list of Explanations lacking in the first edition. W.H. Galvani is listed as the compiler, and Habersham's name is dropped. We assume that Galvani made the updates to the map. Full color by county. Folded into dark brown cloth covers 16.5x10.6 with "Sectional Township And County Map Of Oregon And Washington. Published By J.K. Gill & Co. Portland, Oregon. 1884." stamped in gold.
