First issue was 1883. Wheat lists 1884 and mentions an 1888 edition. Graff lists the 1885 and 1886 edition. An outstanding map full of interesting detail on all matter of subjects. Wheat states that "students of early Wyoming history will sometimes find Holt their most helpful cartographic tool." With a paste down ad for Holt's map on the inside front cover - "The only reliable and accurate map of Wyoming ever published." Border color by county. Map is folded into stamped dark brown cloth covers 16.5x12 with "Holt's New Map Of Wyoming Published By Geo. L. Holt Cheyenne 1885." in gilt.
