A 1960s-style metal screen on Canal Street. I've never seen another building like it.
Comparing my Nov. 2004 photos of the same building, most of the damage appears to be from the hurricanes. A store sign (not quite legible before -- possibly "Mirage& ;quot;) has also vanished.
